I was looking at my stats lately. I've begun to ignore my page views a bit. I've felt like paying attention to them makes me either irritable or obsessive and I don't need that in my personality. So I've decided to be concerned with my watchers instead (from one thing to another...:P) As of this moment I have 99 watchers on DA. When I get to 100 I think I may celebrate with something either for the lucky 100th watcher or for everyone...or both. For all I know it could be another 2 months before I hit 100... or 2 days. DA is strange like that. Suggestions for any celebratory art stuffs?

I've been re-evaluating myself as an artist lately. There are skills I need to work on but manage to happily ignore, cover up, or figure out a way not to show them altogether. Enough of this artsy hiding. I need to get out of my art rut. I don't feel like I'm creating things that feel finished enough. I need to do more pre-planning for my paintings and pay attention to the environment and not just the characters. I need to start drawing from life again as well.
